Captured Pirate “Very happy to be here”

New York – The only surviving pirate from last week’s riveting rescue on the Somali high seas quoted Prince Hakeem and said he was “very happy to be here” when asked how he felt about coming to America.
Abdul Wali-i-Musi, the sole survivor of the sniper raid of a life boat where he was holding an American captain hostage said it was always his “dream to come to America…and New York in particular”.
“It has always been my American dream to come here and go to prison,” said Musi. “It will authenticate my life as an artist.”
Musi, as it turns out, is a pirate by day, and a rapper by night. He raps about money, prison and b*tches, but has found it hard to prove himself “street credible” since he has never been to prison.
“Life in an American federal prison will make my message far more marketable,” explains Musi. “There are plenty of b*tches in prison.”
He quickly adds that he hopes not to become one.
When we asked if he was not sad that he had his freedom taken away stemming from his arrest, he told our Stalker team that life was far better here than it is in his village in Somalia.
“Look, I get to watch TV several hours a day; I have a bed to myself, a shelter that does not leak, and three meals a day. It’s like being on holiday!”
Musi recently sent word to his grieving mother to let her know that he is “okay”. To his cohorts, he had another message.
“I encourage other pirates to get caught by American navy ships as well,” he said. “Just don’t get killed.”
Dead pirates tell no tales, after all.
