Open Call For New Writers

Dear readers,

We hope by the grace of God that you are fine reading this letter. How are your studies going? By God’s grace, we are also fine here.

Since our inception late last year, we’ve been delighting readers all over the world. From England/Europe, America, China and even Australia! We have readers in places where we weren’t sure there was even internet… (like The Kingdom of Lesotho).

Anyway, a few of you have expressed a need for more news. Asking us “Why don’t you report on this?” or “Don’t you people care about the price of plantain and its’ indirect economic effect on oil prices?” To all you critics, MaizeBreak is giving you the opportunity to become a contributing editor. Yes, here on this website, your name will be posted for the world to see, along with your article(s) of interest.

Now, we have make you aware of a few things. We understand that most of our readers are Africans in the Diaspora, and some of you will claim that English is not your first language, but we BEG you, please don’t come and release any bullets on our site with your bad grammar. Use spell check. Bro Bill Gates made it just for you and the Chinese. Also, you may write on any topic you wish; and while we push the limits on what we consider tasteful, we must still ask that you do not push the envelope too far. They have something like decency laws in many countries.

Now! All you empty barrels, come and make your noise! We look forward to it.
