Scientists: Looking At the Moon is Dangerous

Addis Ababa - Scientists are warning expectant mothers and mothers of newborn children of the dangers of looking at the moon. A team of astronomers, mathematicians and climatologists gathered in the Ethiopian capital of Adis Ababa this week to share their findings with government officials and children’s rights advocates.
According to the experts, exposing children to direct moon light will cause them to become lunatic, insomniac werewolves. The condition is also transferred to newborns and infants if a pregnant woman gazes into the moon while her child is in the fetal stage.
‘It is of utmost importance that children never be exposed to direct moonlight,” said Claus Shwezenwaargetan, a German researcher. “In addition to the cold night air, which can damage their fragile lungs, the side effects of becoming a werewolf night after night can be emotionally taxing as well.”
“Especially a lunatic, insomniac werewolf,” stressed a Gambian professor, who served as a member of the team.
The team is advocating for the banning of the nursery rhyme “I see the moon”, to discourage moon gazing as well. They claim that by singing verse I see the moon and the moon sees me
The moon sees the somebody I’d like to see , children may also be unintentionally inviting witches into their home as well.
“With all that Africa’s children are suffering: hunger, homelessness, malaria, being orphaned and child trafficking, it would be irresponsible for us to allow them to summon members of the spirit world and transform themselves into mythical creatures at the same time,” said Mr. Shwezenwaargetan.
“Especially a mythical creature like a lunatic, insomniac werewolf!” reiterated the Gambian professor emphatically. “It’s a very serious condition.”
