World to Gift Trash to Africa

Beira, Mozambique – Intrigued by images of little boys with toy cars made of coat hangers in South Africa and teenagers pushing tires on sticks in the West, the rest of the world has decided to gift the continent with their rubbish. In Africa, a butter tin can miraculously become a toy truck, and old plastic bottles gain new life as miniature canoes.
“These people are remarkably innovative,” said one Swedish woman who was preparing to have her refuse transported to the continent. “I feel better know that somewhere, a little boy will be able to make use of this old bra.”
She is hoping that her pink boob holster will be reincarnated into something useful, like a slingshot.
“It may help feed a needy family someday,” she said solemnly. “I feel alive, knowling my old bra might be handled by the attentive and skilled hands of an 8 year old boy.”
